About Leslie Ann Hauer
I painted watercolors in the 1980's and was fairly successful in placing paintings in shows at that time. Many of these paintings depicted scenes from our mountain climbing trips. After a detour through fiber arts (spinning, weaving) and ceramics, I have returned to painting, this time primarily with oils. I love the texture of paint on canvas and suggesting details with painterly gesture.
